Over the last few weeks we’ve been putting into practice what we preach and have ramped up our marketing efforts to firmly establish our position and help differentiate our services from other marketing and design agencies. As a result we have welcomed two new clients; an inspiring lighting company based in Peterborough and the other, an established London-based organisation.
Once again it was our strategic approach and the presentation of our creative solutions to re-vamping their marketing communications that won the day. With every opportunity, we rise to the challenge of making a real difference to an organisation’s marketing collateral; making sure that what we propose is always on brief.
However, if we do not consider the brief on target, we will re-write the brief to ensure that it is fit for purpose and will achieve our client’s very specific goals. After all, each and every project we undertake for our clients is an investment that needs to generate a sale or evoke a response in some form or another.
Our first new client is Mark Shortland, MD, of Shoplight; a company that specialises in the installation of lighting systems for retailers. Established in 2014, Shoplight has already built a solid reputation for the quality of its lighting products.
Mark contacted Direct Approach to rewrite and re-design a 24 page, A4 brochure in order to make the content more accessible and engaging to his high profile client base which includes Skechers, Moss Bros and Mountain Warehouse for starters. Further to the brochure we have also been asked to design two guarantee devices as well as develop a full suite of company stationery that will include invoices and delivery notes and more.
Our second new client is the British Dental Association (BDA). The BDA is a perfect complement to our portfolio of professional associations for whom we have designed and printed a range of membership collateral. Michael Kyle, Design Manager, Brand and Digital Marketing at the BDA invited us to enter a pitch to design a new identity for the organisation’s prestigious annual conference and exhibition.
We were delighted to be advised that the work was successful when pitched against four other competing agencies comprising a London freelance designer, and creative agencies in Henley, London and Nottingham. Work is underway with vigour to deliver these projects for our lovely clients.
